Global Head of Business Development and Sales

Rachel Roosevelt Reyes manages all client relationships and sales at SGH Macro Advisors and leads the firm’s sales and business development team. She has been instrumental in growing the company since its founding in 2009 by Sassan Ghahramani, developing the international client base and revenue strategy. She works closely with the Founder & CEO on strategic growth initiatives, ensuring the firm’s continued expansion and influence in global policy and macro research.

Prior to joining SGH, Roosevelt served as a Cultural Coordinator for the Mexican Embassy in Guatemala, managing cultural and public relations events and interpreting U.S. news and policy for embassy staff. She also worked at Komercia, a think tank designed to increase investment in Central America by providing political, social, and economic information to companies and institutions and by increasing trade flows in the region.

Roosevelt was a member of the United States Ski Team (2000 to 2004) and served as Captain of the University of Colorado ski team, leading the team to an NCAA national championship, for which she was honored by the President of the United States at the White House in 2006.

Roosevelt has engaged in extensive community work and has volunteered with Stoked mentoring in NYC, iMentor, and has designed educational activities in the Dominican Republic through the Orphanage Outreach Program, among others. She lives in New York with her husband and two children.
