Elena Sostilio
Sales and Client Management Administrator
Elena Sostilio joined SGH in 2026 to support Client Relationship Management and Sales Operations initiatives, bringing a strong background in client relations within the asset management industry. She works closely with the Global Head of Business Development and Sales, Rachel Roosevelt, and the Director of Sales and Client Relationships, Shanice West, to support the firm’s client engagement and growth efforts.
Sostilio earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance with a minor in Economics from the University of South Carolina’s Darla Moore School of Business in 2019. She began her career at John Hancock in Boston as a Rollover Education Specialist, where she worked directly with 401(k) plan participants to provide personalized retirement planning guidance and relationship-driven service.
In 2021, Sostilio relocated to Washington, DC and joined Sands Capital Management, where she progressed through multiple roles within the client relations team. During her tenure, she played a key role in supporting the firm’s UCITS vehicle, working with global investors representing more than $6 billion in assets under management and coordinating with international vendors to deliver accurate and compliant regulatory documentation. She also leveraged her passion for mentorship to expand and manage the client relations internship program, designing structured projects, and mentoring interns to strengthen the firm’s talent pipeline.
Sostilio is based in San Diego, California, where she teaches yoga and enjoys staying active, culinary exploration, and travel.
